The family of Shirley M. Eckart, who died on December 21, 2024 in Westhampton Beach, is inviting friends and family to a celebration of life service on Saturday, April 26. She will be interred at 2:30 p.m. at Westhampton Cemetery, followed by the memorial service from 3 to 6 p.m. at Eckart’s Luncheonette. Refreshments will be served,

Eckart was born in East Hampton on April 10, 1926, and will be remembered for a beautiful and long life shared with her husband Warren “Red” Eckart, children, family and friends. Eckart’s Luncheonette, more than breakfast and lunch — it’s a place where generations have found kindness, advice and Shirley in the kitchen and Red at the counter.

The family invites everyone to honor her in her home and share memories of a life well lived.
