Michael F. LeBrun of Speonk died on May 28 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was 63.

He was born June 10, 1958, in East Patchogue. Upon graduation from Westhampton Beach High School in 1977, he entered the United States Navy, where he served for 20 years.

LeBrun enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, fishing on his boat, spending time with his family and friends. He also had a sweet tooth, loved a good steak or seafood dinner, and IHOP, according to his family. He retired from Raytheon, where he served as a senior manager of Systems Engineering for 17 years.

He was predeceased by his father, Charles; mother, Virginia, and brother, Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Francesca; siblings, Charles, Patrick, and Clark; children, Virginia, Charles (Tiffany); and grandchildren, Cristian, Eloise, Adriana, and Amelia.

Services were held in Florida on June 2.

A paramedic attempting to treat a Speonk man who was highly intoxicated suffered a broken nose after the man head-butted him last week.
