Nancy Ann Fleming, Formerly Of Southampton, Dies December 30

Nancy Anne Fleming of Durham, North Carolina, formerly of Southampton, died December 30, surrounded by her family. She was 86.

In Southampton, she worked as a licensed practical nurse, and as an advocate for self-help for 15 years through Recovery International. During those 15 years of service, she received two awards for leadership.

Ms. Fleming is survived by her husband of 67 years, Edward; three daughters, Barbara Gay Gibson and husband Malcolm, Deborah Anne Halsey and husband Raymond, and Lauren Elizabeth Hall and husband James; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John and James Holden. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Holden Nugent.
