The Children’s Museum of the East End will host a Spring Golf Outing at The Bridge golf club in Bridgehampton on Wednesday, May 7, at 1:30 p.m. In addition to experiencing one of the most exclusive golf courses in America, players will enjoy a brunch before play and cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction upon returning to the clubhouse. The Bliss Morehead Grant Committee has announced the winner of the fourth annual Bliss Morehead Poetry Grant competition: Bethany Moore of Shelter Island, for her poem, “In Praise of the End.” The theme for 2025 was “Beginnings and Endings.” Moore will be awarded the Bliss Morehead grant of $1,000 on Saturday, April 26, at 5 pm, at the Shelter Island American Legion Hall, during the group’s annual poetry meeting.
