Raul Ortega Sanchez, 32, of Shirley was arrested by Quogue Village Police on Montauk Highway in Quogue on February 23 at 3:11 a.m. and charged with felony aggravated DWI. Police said Ortega Sanchez was observed speeding and when he was pulled over, an investigation revealed he was driving drunk with an open alcohol container and a suspended license. The vehicle was not equipped with a court-ordered interlock device. Prior DWI convictions elevated the charge to a felony, the level of intoxication — more than .18 percent — raised it to aggravated DWI, police said.
