The Reconstructed Bra Fashion Show and Auction was held on Thursday, April 7, at the Southampton Publick House, in which 26 bras with a twist were created by local designers and modeled by local women.

The event was a benefit for team Heaven Can Wait in the LI2DAY Walk for Breast Cancer. All Heaven Can Wait team proceeds benefit local breast health organizations: Lucia’s Angels, the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital and the Ellen Hermanson Breast Center.

A large portion of the proceeds of this year’s LI2DAY Walk will go to Lucia’s Room at Southampton Hospital. The room will primarily be used by breast cancer patients who are going through difficult surgeries, palliative care and/or end of life services. The goal is to have Lucia’s Room decorated and equipped with things that will create a peaceful and serene atmosphere for the patients and their visitors.
