Regarding Christopher Walsh’s article about Nick LaLota [“Constituents Brave Chill To Protest LaLota’s Lack of In-Person Town Halls,” 27east.com, February 19: I agree with the protesters. He has never had a town hall, a “meet the candidate,” and his office doesn’t answer emails. And nary a newsletter.
However, you get plenty of those large postcards asking for money and votes. Neither of which he got from me last November, even though I voted for him the first time.
It’s time for the Long Island Republican Party to find a candidate who will represent and serve their constituency.
