Ronald D. “Ronnie” Roth of Southampton died peacefully from pancreatic cancer on November 21 in Southampton. He was 78.
Fondly beloved in his circle as “Ronnie,” he was born on October 13, 1945, in the Bronx, and was known for his loving, funny, and selfless nature.
He was the very definition of a family man, his family said. “His legacy of unconditional love and generosity were unmatched,” they said. “To the world he is one man, to his family he was the world.”
He was predeceased by a son, Brian Roth. He is survived by his wife Virginia; his children, Deborah Roth, Steven Roth, and Dianne Sigler; his grandchildren, Matthew and Kevin Kazlo, Brenna and Chloe Roth, and Adrianna, Christopher, and Brayden Sigler; his son-in-law, Kevin Sigler; and his daughters-in-law, Lynne, and Jessica Roth.
A visitation was held at the Brockett Funeral Home in Southampton. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rosalie’s Church in Hampton Bays. Interment followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
