The Karish Education Fund of the Horticultural Alliance of the Hamptons is now accepting scholarship applications from qualified current and future students of horticulture and related fields (such as agriculture, botany, landscape architecture, garden design, and environmental science). Retreat To Host Webinars for Parents

The Retreat invites parents to join its free informative web seminar series. Each session will focus on a unique and important topic, including online safety, fostering healthy relationships, hearing from survivors of domestic violence, and learning about available support services for families. Additionally, the series will explore various counseling options, including crisis intervention. Each seminar will take place on Zoom, with a different topic covered on each date. Killer Bees Exhibition Game To Benefit Library

An exhibition basketball game, “Bees for Books,” pitting the Bridgehampton Killer Bees against Bees alumni, will take place on Friday, April 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brigehampton School. The event will raise money for the Hampton Library. Tickets, sold at the door, are $10 for adults and $5 for students, and children under age 5 get in for free. Bicycle Donations and Volunteers Sought

Neighbors in Support of Immigrants is planning its fourth annual Bicycle Recycling Day. The project started as a way to provide transportation to summer jobs for teens and families who have no car or just one car. This year, NISI will work with the Long Island Bicycle Cooperative whose volunteers will repair bikes in any condition preparing them to give away. This year the cooperative has promised 50 road-ready bikes, more than has been collected before. New York State Senator Anthony Palumbo has announced that the New York Conference of Italian American State Legislators is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. For 2025, four scholarships, each worth $3,000, are being offered: two recognizing academic excellence and two honoring athletic achievement. Residents of the 1st Senate District who are either enrolled in college or high school seniors preparing to attend college are eligible to apply. Water Balloon Drop Planned at CMEE

The Children’s Museum of the East End will host a Water Balloon Drop Challenge on Saturday, March 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. All ages are welcome. Participants will create contraptions to protect their balloon from the highest drop in the museum, the top of the pirate ship. Guests are encouraged to bring upcycled materials from home such as milk cartons, takeout containers, and plastic bags to build their contraption. The cost is $10 for members, $25 for nonmembers.
