Southampton Elementary School students, including Anabella Smith are learning to drive and putt as part of a two-week golf program at their school. Through the program, Montauk Downs Golf Course and the Golf Channel Academy with Kelley Brooke are providing golf skill training to the students through fun, and engaging activities. The Raynor Country Day School will hold a Veterans Day assembly on Thursday, November 7, starting at 10 a.m., to honor the commitment, dedication and patriotism of local veterans, as well as those currently serving in the U.S. Armed Services. All are welcome. A musical military tribute and student presentations will be followed by a complementary bagged lunch “to go” for all veterans and those currently serving.
