Members of the Southampton Elementary School Garden Club recently enjoyed a field trip to Fowler’s Garden Center. During the trip, Liam Blackmore, a Southampton High School student who was once a Garden Club member and now an employee of Fowler’s, provided students with a tour. Students also visited the holiday village, wrote letters to Santa, enjoyed watching the train set in action and, as always, made their own holiday wreaths to bring home. The Southampton Intermediate School Builders Club, advised by Pamela Halpin and Stephanie Budd, recently hosted their first Holiday Shop. At the shop, students were able to shop for holiday gifts for their families using “kindness bucks” that they earned in the weeks leading up to the sale.
