Two Southampton High School chorus students have been recognized with Choral Society of the Hamptons awards. Senior Emma Cervone and sophomore Beatriz Fino Morfogen were each presented with a $500 scholarship toward vocal lessons.
They earned the award by singing either a classical or Broadway song of their choice and
participating in an interview by the Choral Society of the Hamptons member committee.

All 41 members of the Hampton Bays Middle School National Junior Honor Society spearheaded a Hampton Bays Volunteer Community Service Day on June 10. During the day, students and chaperones volunteered at various locations throughout the community to help in meaningful ways. Volunteers assisted at the Hampton Bays Public
Library, the Hampton Bays Ecological Culture Initiative, the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, and the Long Island Cares Hunger Assistance and Humanitarian Center of the Hamptons. They also participated in a trash cleanup at Red Creek Park, a beach cleanup at Ponquogue Beach, and letter-writing campaigns for the Hampton Bays Senior Center's Meals on Wheels program and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital patients. Southampton High School counselor Amy Prince was recently presented with the East End Counselors Association’s Barbara Ackerman Counselor of the Year Award. Prince, who has worked at Southampton High School since 2003, earned the recognition for her commitment to her students and her hard work in coordinating counseling programs and resources for students and their families. “Amy is known to be a fierce advocate for her students and leaves no stone unturned to find a program or postsecondary plan to fit her students' goals,” said Martha Tuthill, the high school’s director of counseling. “We are proud of her recognition by this professional organization.”  COURTESY SOUTHAMPTON SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Westhampton Beach School District is now registering children for the 2025-26 school year. To be eligible, students must be 5 years old as of December 1, 2025.
