High-achieving Westhampton Beach Middle School students in grades six through eight
were selected for an online math competition through the Math League. The students had
30 minutes to complete 35 challenging questions that increased in difficulty. The
participating students were Leo Bonawandt, Andrew Camacho, Serafina DiBiaso, Aaliyah Figueroa, Keith Figueroa, Sophia Harrington-Matros, Cameron Hipp, Gage Matlock, Isabelle McCarthy, Chris Meyers, Christian Naclerio, Harper Riling and Filip Sanczenko. COURTESY WESTHAMPTON BEACH SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Raynor Country Day School will hold a Veterans Day assembly on Thursday, November 7, starting at 10 a.m., to honor the commitment, dedication and patriotism of local veterans, as well as those currently serving in the U.S. Armed Services. Halloween Screening of 'Night of the Living Dead' at LTV

LTV Studios will celebrate Halloween with a movie screening of George A. Romero’s 1968 film, “Night of the Living Dead,” on Thursday, October 31, at 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be available and those who arrive in costume will receive a free popcorn.
