Westhampton Beach High School students recently celebrated National Poem in My
Pocket Day. During the day, students shared their favorite poems — both from renowned
poets and those they had penned themselves — with peers, teachers, administrators and
staff. Participating students were entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Barnes & Noble

Members of Hampton Bays Elementary School’s service club, K-Kids, recently raised $200 for Camp Flying Point and $200 for the Anderson Center as part of an annual autism awareness fundraiser. Registration Open for Pre-K And Kindergarten at Southampton School District

Registration for pre-K and kindergarten at Southampton School district is open. Residents of the school district should call 631-591-4517 to schedule an appointment. Documentation will be required to prove age and residency. Children who will be 4 years old by December 1, 2025 are eligible for prekindergarten; those who are 5 years old by that date are eligible for kindergarten.
