During spring break, 32 Southampton High School students, along with five chaperones, enjoyed a culturally educational trip to Italy. The group explored the Colosseum, the ruins of the Roman Forum, Pompeii, Vesuvius and the Greek ruins in Sicily. They also enjoyed viewing masterpieces like Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel in the Vatican museums, a volcano hike on the Vesuvius, a boat ride around the island of Capri, and a taste of street food and markets in Palermo.
