In recognition of National Diabetes Month, members of the Westhampton Beach Middle School Student Council donated $215 to the American Diabetes Association, which focuses on research, advocacy and educational programs. Southampton Intermediate School students recently marked Unity Day by wearing orange to school and taking part in activities created by the school’s counseling department that carried messages of antibullying, respecting others and kindness. The Raynor Country Day School will hold a Veterans Day assembly on Thursday, November 7, starting at 10 a.m., to honor the commitment, dedication and patriotism of local veterans, as well as those currently serving in the U.S. Armed Services.
