Bridgehampton School’s fourth graders learned some New York State history when they took part in an early explorers project.  Caitlyn Brown’s and Allie Federico’s students researched Giovanni da Verrazzano, Samuel de Champlain and Henry Hudson and created posters of their historic adventures.

To give back to their community, members of the Hampton Bays Middle School Builders Club worked to collect nonperishable goods for neighbors in need during the month of November. All items collected were donated to St. Rosalie’s Community Food Pantry.

Entries Sought for Art of Healing Showcase

In honor of National Recovery Month, the Town of Southampton Addiction, Recovery and Behavioral Health Committee is seeking entries for an upcoming visual art exhibition, “The Art of Healing,” which is set to take place on Saturday, September 21, from 3 to 6 p.m. at East End Arts, 141 East Main Street in Riverhead.
