Students across the Hampton Bays School District recently celebrated Unity Day by wearing orange and participating in a variety of kindness activities. Unity Day aims to encourage students to promote acceptance, inclusion and kindness and send the message that no one should ever experience bullying. COURTESY HAMPTON BAYS SCHOOL DISTRICT
Seven students were inducted into the Westhampton Beach High School National Honor Society during a recent ceremony. The new members were inducted in recognition of their demonstrated excellence in service, character, scholarship and leadership. The students are Aden Ali, Brooke Bahr, Drew Calloway, Jayson Kampfer, Graelyn LoRusso, Maxwell Orr and Angad Singh.
About 300 Our Lady of the Hamptons School students participated in the 2024 Jog-a-Thon at the school to raise money supporting school programs, including Prep 8 students. The Southampton PTO sponsored "Haunted Hallways" for classes 9 through 12 to design and decorate on October 31. Members of the community were invited to walk the hallways and enjoy the spirit of Halloween. This is the first time in many years the event was held. RON ESPOSITO
