Bridgehampton Elementary School students participated in an assembly featuring The Bug Chicks -- Kristie Reddick and Jessica Honaker -- in collaboration with Stony Brook University’s FoodLab. The award-winning entomologists and educators transformed fear into fascination through the world of arthropods. The Bug Chicks specialize in engaging students with hands-on learning experiences featuring spiders, insects and other exoskeletal creatures. Students explored disciplines such as nursing, emergency medical services, orthopedics, neurosurgery and health care marketing by speaking to professionals in the field.
