Sharon F. Martin Dies At 68

Sharon Faye Martin of Supply, North Carolina, died at Universal Health Care Center in Bolivia, North Carolina, on Saturday December 3. She was 68.

Ms. Martin was born in New Jersey on September 18, 1943, to Matthew and Marie H. Frass. She and her husband, Donald, worked closely with the Shallotte Volunteer Rescue Squad in North Carolina for many years. She will be deeply missed and her smile will live on in the hearts of those that knew her, family said.

She is survived by two sons, Dominick Martin of East Quogue and Donald Martin of Hampton Bays; a daughter, Tracey Fioriglio of Westhampton Beach; four grandsons, Jason Martin, Donald Martin, Dominic Martin and Richard Fioriglio; two granddaughters, Nicole Martin and Brittany Martin; one great-granddaughter, Angelina; and a sister, Martha Overton of Hampton Bays. She was predeceased on June 25 by her husband of more than 52 years, Donald Robert Martin.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Rudy Ordonez Ruano, 36, of Shirley was arrested by Westhampton Beach Police on Sunday at 8:48 p.m. at the intersection of Montauk Highway and Depot Road and charged with misdemeanor DWI.
