Sharon Scadin Of Flat Rock, Michigan, And Formerly Of Southampton Dies February 17

Sharon Marie Scadin of Flat Rock, Michigan, and formerly of Southampton died at home on February 17 from cholangiocarcinoma. She was 47.

Ms. Scadin was born on January 9, 1974 in Southampton.

Beloved wife to Frederick Scadin. Loving mother of Rachel and Katherine Scadin. Dearest daughter of Robert and Kathleen Lawrence.

Ms. Scadin was valedictorian of Southampton High School in 1992. She studied at Plymouth State college in New Hampshire, and earned her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Hawaii in 1996.

After graduation, Ms. Scadin was an elementary school teacher in both Hawaii and Oregon until becoming a stay at home mother. She continued to substitute teach and was very active in her children’s school.

She is survived by her husband Fred; daughters Rachel and Katherine; parents Robert and Kathleen (McGee); and her brother Michael.

Visitation was scheduled at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home in Flat Rock, Michigan on February 21-22. Services were set for February 23. A live stream feed of the services can be found at mimemorial.com/obituaries/persons/S/Sharon.
