Sherry L. Corr of Southampton died on January 12. She was 66.

She was owner of Sherry and Joe Corr’s Best Boat Works since 1985. Ms. Corr and her husband Joe were well respected in the community and were described as a couple who would “give their shirts off their backs” to their loved ones.

Ms. Corr was an animal enthusiast and had many of her own over the years from horses, to dogs and cats, to exotic birds. She loved a good joke, even when it was on her. Her laugh was infectious, and she was always a fun-loving, beautiful energetic woman, the life of the party, her family said. Ms. Corr spent most of her summers with her great-grandchildren and she will forever be revered and missed greatly, her family said.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Phillips; and her son Joseph Corr Jr.; along with her grandchildren and great-children.
