Sondra Maslin of Boca Raton, Florida, Dies December 16

Sondra Maslin died peacefully in Boca Raton, Florida, on December 16. She was 90.

Born in Brooklyn, she was a long-time resident of Roslyn, New York.

She was a volunteer at Long Island Jewish Hospital and member of the Muttontown CC, until moving to Boca Raton.

She went to Thomas Jefferson High School before graduating from Brooklyn College.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harold Maslin; children, Jon Maslin (Kristy) and Jayne Maslin Katz; grandchildren, Rebecca Katz Zano (Jamie), Sydney Katz and Jake and Luke Maslin.

Her laughter, love for family and life will be missed, her family said.

The Sag Harbor Historical Museum was awarded a $10,000 grant to restore headstones in Sag Harbor’s Old Burying Ground on Union Street.
