Paul G. Meech, 49, of Sag Harbor was charged with misdemeanor DWI by Sag Harbor Village Police at around midnight on Friday. SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Village Police received a report at around 4 a.m. on Sunday that there appeared to be an intruder in the backyard of a Hampton Street residence. Officers went to check the property and did not find an intruder on the property. Officers noted that snow has been falling for some time, but there were no tracks in the snow. The homeowner concluded, when informed of the police investigation, that she may have been mistaken, but she said she thought she had seen someone intruding on the property.
