The Southampton Village Police Benevolent Association will hold its annual Easter End Hunt on Friday, April 18, at 10 a.m. at Agawam Park in Southampton Village. All kids age 10 and younger are invited to participate but should bring a receptacle to pick up eggs. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photo opportunities and there will be a great prize egg among the thousands scattered on the field.

Vendors are being sought for a Community Yard Sale at the Westhampton Presbyterian Church that will be held on Saturday, May 17. Vendors will rent a space equal to two parking spaces for $40 where they can sell their wares. Leftover items must be taken away. Peconic Bay Medical Center Hosts No-Cost Colorectal Cancer Screening in Riverhead Peconic Bay Medical Center recently held a no-cost colorectal screening event at New Jerusalem Church in Riverhead. The event offered participants a simple, non-invasive way to check for early signs of cancer via FIT (Fecal Immunochemical Test), and vital information and resources to Suffolk County residents. Spring break programs continue at the Southampton History Museum with a program titled Historic Plants & Farming on Thursday, April 17, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The outdoor program offers children the opportunity to learn about historical farming tools and explore plants commonly grown in colonial herb gardens. Participants will learn about the fascintating history of the landmark mulberry tree on the Rogers Mansion lawn. The North Sea Sportsman’s Association will host its 26th annual Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, April 26, at the North Sea Community House, across from the firehouse on Noyac Road. The takeout only event will have service from 4 to 8 p.m. The dinner is a fundraiser for the group’s scholarship fund, which is awarded to two graduates of Southampton High School who intend to study environmental conservation. Dinners are $20 for adults and $15 per children’s meal and include bread, salad, dessert, water, and meatballs and spaghetti.
