North Sea Crash Leads to DWI Charge on Saturday

Southampton Town Police charged a local man with driving while intoxicated following a three-car crash that reportedly caused two minor injuries near North Sea Tavern on the afternoon of Saturday, March 22. After an investigation at the scene of the North Sea Road crash, officers arrested Steven Begg, 33, of Southampton and charged him with a misdemeanor count of DWI. He was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters, where he was held overnight for an arraignment on Sunday morning. On March 4 at 12:55 p.m., Quogue Village Police arrested Kristin Greene, 44, of Hampton Bays and charged her with third-degree grand larceny, a felony.
