A Legal Aid Society investigator’s lawsuit brought against Southampton Village to obtain police department rules and regulations has been resolved after the police department supplied the requested documents, with redactions. The investigator, Richard Burns, filed a Freedom of Information request in person at the Southampton Village Police Department in January and made the same request of several other East End police departments that month.
