Southampton DWI Arrests for the Week of August 29

Julien Marmur, 20, of Water Mill was arrested by Southampton Town Police at about 10:30 p.m. on August 22 and charged with misdemeanor DWI after he was involved in a car accident on Flying Point Road in Water Mill. Police said his vehicle had struck a street sign and crashed into a landscaped berm at the corner of Burnetts Cove Road. Marmur smelled of alcohol and performed poorly on a field sobriety test, police said, and he was placed under arrest and held overnight for arraignment in Town Justice Court. by Staff Writer
