Susan J. Frey passed away early on the morning of March 5, 2021, following a battle with kidney and liver failure.

Her family says not only was Mr. Frey an amazing mother, but she was also a loving Mema (grandmother), wife, daughter and sister and a beloved friend to many. She is survived by her son Nathaniel Frey, daughter Melissa Locrotondo and grandchildren Maci and Colton.

Ms. Frey drove hundreds of children to and from school safely for 27 years. She was also a member and ex-president of the Eastport Ladies Auxiliary, and a life member and chef of the East Moriches Community Ambulance. She also memorably made appearances as Mrs. Claus and was a Girl Scout leader as well.

The family extends its thanks to the volunteers at Westhampton War Memorial Ambulance for their professional and timely response in coming to Mr. Frey’s aid over the past few months, and to those who have expressed concern.
