Earns First League Win

Toby Foster (18 points), Zach Dodge (16) and Liam Fowkes (11) each finished in double digits in scoring to lead the East Hampton boys basketball team (1-2 League IV, 3-2 overall) to its first League IV victory of the season, 58-49, at Eastport-South Manor on Monday. Dodge made three of the Bonackers seven three-pointers in the game. The victory comes after the Bonackers lost their first league games of the season last week, falling, 69-46, at Westhampton Beach on December 13 before losing, 63-27, at home to Hauppauge the following day.

East Hampton junior Sam Piver was picked as team captains as Swimmer of the Meet because of willingness to step up and swim in the meet after having been sick the days prior to the meet. Not wanting to let the team down, Piver competed in all three relays.
