Police have arrested a Hampton Bays man a second time in as many weeks after another hourslong standoff sparked by fears that he was barricaded in a residence with a gun. As an avid gardener and lover of trees, my heart appreciates the spirit behind the proposed tree law in Southampton Village. My mind knows that the problems outweigh any benefits.
