Earth Day Celebration at SOFO on Saturday

The South Fork Natural History Museum’s annual Earth Day Celebration will take place Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum on Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be an array of children’s activities. A birding for beginners walk will start at 10:30 a.m., as well as face painting. From 2 to 3 p.m., the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center will show off some of its animal ambassadors. Admission is $5 for members, $12 for nonmembers. “Rocking for the Homeless,” a benefit concert for Maureen’s Haven Homeless Outreach, will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 6 p.m. at Riverhead Moose Lodge, 28 Lincoln Street, Riverhead. Kiwanas Golf Outing Is June 9

The annual golf outing hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Southampton is set for Monday, June 9, at The Rock Golf Club in Wading River. The Flying Point Foundation for Autism will be a beneficiary of the event, as well as other Kiwanis activities and programs. The driving range opens at 11 a.m. as will check-in and lunch. Spring Fling in Westhampton Beach May 3

To celebrate spring, the Greater Westhampton Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Spring Fling Festival on Saturday, May 3. The rain date is Sunday, May 4. The festival will be held on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The roadway will be closed to traffic from Library Avenue to Moniebogue Lane. The day will feature artisan vendors, food trucks, food and beverage tents, local restaurants, a beer garden, live music, and games and attractions for children. The 6 a.m. Easter Sunrise interfaith service at Coopers Beach is always a special service. This year, the weather was also extremely cooperative, making it a top 10. The sunrise completely obliged Father Mike Vetrano, who stated he had been praying all week for this.
