Located in the heart of Bridgehampton Commons, Vincent Da Silva at Gil Ferrer Salon is expanding and looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team!
We have two positions available:
SHAMPOO ASSISTANT: Provide excellent shampooing services and assist with color treatments. Pay rate: $20/hour.
RECEPTIONIST: Must be friendly, organized, and proficient with computers. Enjoy client interactions while ensuring the salon runs smoothly. Pay rate: $25/hour.
Both positions are full-time, working five days a week from Tuesday to Saturday.

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for retail sales? We’re looking for a Sales Manager to lead our retail and designer sales teams to new heights! In this role, you’ll motivate and mentor your team, develop innovative upselling programs, and collaborate with marketing and merchandising to drive exciting promotions. • Recruit, hire, and train sales personnel for continued business expansion
• Achieve sales target through effective management and motivation of the designer sales team
• Assign target quotas to individual salespersons to ensure overall sales goals are met
• Lead, motivate and coach the designer sales team to improve performance
• Create innovative programs for upselling
• Become a mentor to designer sales team to ensure the best customer experience
• Work with Buyer & Merchandiser to audit inventory levels throughout the year
• Work with marketing and creative director to organize promotions to increase revenue
• Implement training programs with Buyer focused on product knowledge, sales techniques and customer engagement
• Handle escalated customer issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution
• Manage designer sales team schedule to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and holidays
Qualifications:
5 to 10 years’ experience in retail sales staff management, as well as outside sales,staff management (interior/home furnishing industry a plus)
Weekend working hours at our retail location in Water Mill, NY in peak season (March 15 through July 31)
Knowledge retail management software POS and CRM (Counterpoint knowledge is a plus)
